The Faculty of Technology organized an interactive VR workshop to introduce students to immersive technologies, 3D environments, and real-world applications of virtual reality.
The Faculty of Technology successfully conducted a hands-on Virtual Reality (VR) Session Workshop on 12 December 2025, giving students the opportunity to experience the latest trends in immersive technology.
The workshop covered several key areas, including:
- Introduction to Virtual Reality and immersive learning
- Exploring 3D environments using VR headsets
- Demonstration of VR-based education tools
- Hands-on session with interactive simulations
- Introduction to creating simple VR scenes using Unity
Students had the chance to interact with VR headsets and explore simulations related to science, engineering, and creative arts. The session highlighted how VR can transform traditional learning by providing more engaging, realistic, and interactive experiences.
