BTEC (HND) in Biotechnology

The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Biotechnology is an internationally recognized, two-year vocational qualification (equivalent to the first two years of a UK Honors Degree). It is specifically designed to provide students with the practical, industry-relevant skills needed to thrive in the rapidly growing fields of medicine, food science, agriculture, and environmental science.

Unlike traditional programs that focus heavily on theory, the BTEC HND emphasizes hands-on laboratory work, project-based assessment, and professional development. This approach ensures graduates are highly employable as technical scientists and are immediately eligible to progress directly into the final year (top-up) of a BSc (Hons) degree at universities worldwide.
